Our synopsis
Our horror opening is the beginning of a story featuring a psycho murderer who first stalks his victims and then brutally murders them. He has no reason to kill at first but it becomes clear that his most recent victim is none other than the investigating detective’s brother. The killer discovers the link between the detective and his previous victim (Daniel).This encourages him to antagonise the detective (Sam) by leaving messages at his apartment and police desk. The police detective is exhausted, he has been trying to bring the murderer down for a long time.
With the murder of his brother eating away at him, he feels forced to go ‘rogue’, breaking all of the police rules and regulations. This decision feels justified to the detective when he discovers that a close colleagues has become a victim at the hands of our psycho murderer. He (Sam) continues to kill anyone who gets in between him and the psycho killer. The brutal murder of the detective's colleague is shown in a scene through the killers eyes.Thorough out the film the psycho killer's face remains hidden from the nose up by a black hoodie, adding to the mystery of the character.
During various violent flashbacks the audience are gradually made aware of a twist in the story, the detective is actually responsible for the murder of his brother but is unaware of this due to his mental illness. He believes he is hunting 'the real killer' while committing multiple violent murders in the process including the murder of his colleague. During the final scenes the film flashes back to the 'stalker board' shown in the opening scene and the detectives face is shown under the hoodie. It becomes clear to the audience that the detective has some sort of split personality disorder causing him to have violent and stalker outbursts.
